AUSTRALIA – Broome, the Kimberleys – Day 14 – 5th June 2017

I’m keen to get a morning shot of the camels against the sea backdrop, but none today, nor all week I was told later, as the tide is in.

We had a late breakfast and caught up on washing, email, bookings, banking etc, via the very slow net.

I left at 3 for the camels, which I photographed extensively against the dunes, 4×4’s, and  people in the hot bright afternoon sun – a very busy place on this Queen’s Birthday West Australian holiday. Hilary came later for our ride at 4.30 on the Red Camels, which she enjoyed immensely. Sadly it doesn’t do much for me! The ride is only about 15 mins long.

I caught a bus to the airport for a high brute 4×4 for 5 days.

Dinner at the Palm Grove Park cafe again.
